CHRONICLES OF KMESOCIETY: A Saga of Educational Eminence
A group of cognoscenti in Bhiwandi, known for their deep knowledge and understanding, advocated for the establishment of an organization dedicated to addressing the educational needs of the local populace.
Thus, on 10th October 1928, a cadre of visionary thinkers laid the cornerstone of this illustrious organization, with the noble aim of uplifting the educationally underserved communities of Bhiwandi to a realm of radiance.
The small seed that was sowed a century ago is now a mighty banyan tree with its roots deeply entrenched in resilience and its branches spreading wide to shelter and nurture countless lives.
In response to the escalating student population in Bhiwandi, KME SOCIETY took proactive steps by inaugurating the “Anglo Urdu Boys High School” which was subsequently rechristened as “Sardar Haji Amir Saheb Rais High School” in 1942. In 1977, another significant milestone was achieved with the establishment of the “Momin Girls High School”. Further expanding its reach, KME SOCIETY founded the Rafiudfin Fakih Boys’ High School in the year 1981. Acknowledging the imperative of advancing female education, the Rafiudfin Fakih Girls’ High School was also established in 1998. With a steadfast commitment to intellectual enlightenment across urban and rural landscapes, KME SOCIETY extended its educational footprint to remote areas such as Padgha, Vadoli, and Bordi.
In a resolute endeavor to empower female students, KME SOCIETY forged ahead by establishing the G.M. Momin Women’s College. Additionally, the society embarked on a mission to facilitate short-term professional courses for all through the Takiya Amani Shah Sarguroh Technical Institute. Recognizing the paramount significance of modern technology in the digital era, KMESOCIETY underscored its commitment by founding the Aqueel Mushtaque Fakih Cyber Centre, dedicated to imparting essential computer skills.
KME SOCIETY stands as a beacon of pride with its distinguished B.Ed. and D.Ed. College of Education, nurturing countless students to embark upon the noble path of teaching. Beyond equipping aspiring educators with essential pedagogical skills, our institution instills a deep sense of commitment to fostering knowledge and shaping the minds of future generations. Here students are trained to become compassionate leaders dedicated to uplifting society through education.
KMESOCIETY has recently pioneered a night college program tailored for students who, due to certain unavoidable circumstances, are unable to pursue their education through regular classes. This initiative not only demonstrates our unwavering commitment to accessibility and inclusivity but also underscores our dedication to providing educational opportunities for all, regardless of their circumstances. Through the night college, we aim to empower individuals to overcome obstacles and achieve their academic aspirations, thereby fostering a brighter future for our community.
Revolution comes quietly but leaves a trail of far reaching ramification. The evolution of KMESOCIETY epitomizes a narrative of authentic revolution, permeating institutions spanning from kindergarten to postgraduate levels (KG to PG)
